Electricity from solar energy: eco-friendly technologies at PARQ Ubud
1 MW– that's exactly how much energy PARQ Ubud is now investing in caring for Bali's ecology. The complex has installed new solar panels, and with their incredible power, PARQ only consumes 80% of it!
325 sunny days a year make these batteries the most environmentally friendly source of energy on the island without compromising efficiency. For comparison: when generating 1 MW of energy using fossil fuels, 500 kg of carbon dioxide enters the air, not to mention soot, carbon monoxide, sulfur oxides, phosphorus, nitrogen, and heavy metals!
Similar batteries will be installed in our new Ocean City complex because we love Bali, and as a major developer, we share responsibility for its future. We've already spent $600,000 on solar panels for PARQ Ubud, considering it a great investment because a healthy environment is part of the natural charm of tropical Bali, attracting millions of hearts to it.
